EgamiTM secure off-site backup service
Egami is a network based, off-site backup and restore solution. Utilizing proven, industry-leading IBM Tivoli software, Egami provides automated, secure, reliable and cost-effective disk-based remote backups.
With its disk-based storage and simple user interface, Egami enables you to restore files in a fraction of the time required for traditional tape-based systems. With no tapes to change, maintain, or secure, Egami reduces costs and labour.
Egami is available in several different versions:
EgamiTM Standard
Available to Atria Networks customers in Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Guelph, this service utilizes a dedicated LAN extension to provide high bandwidth for large amounts of data (up to multiple terabytes).
EgamiTM Light
The Egami Light service operates over the internet, and is available world wide. The amount of data that can be backed up will depend on the speed of the client's internet connection. This service is intended for smaller clients with 25 gigabytes of data or less.
EgamiTM SR
The Egami Secure Repository service is an alternative for Atria customers which provides all the benefits of the Data Fortress facility, but allows the client to use and manage their own hardware and software platform. This service provides a dedicated Atria LAN extension along with co-location space, allowing the client to install and operate their own near-line storage or backup equipment.
